Amoxicillin and Colistin Sulfate Injection

Properties: 

This product is a white to light yellow suspension liquid; It can be stratified for a long time, the upper layer is a colorless liquid, and the lower layer is a white to light yellow precipitation.

Indications: 

Used to treat actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and colibacillosis, as well as porcine respiratory and digestive tract infections caused by actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and colibacillosis.

Usage and dosage:

Intramuscular injection: one dose,0.1-0.2ml per kg body weight, once a day, for 3-5 days.

Note:

1. Shake well before use: do not refrigerate.

2. Animals allergic to penicillins should not use this product.

3. Staff with a history of allergy to penicillin and cephalosporins are forbidden to contact this product.

4. Avoid over-dose use, when the dose is more than 3 times the recommended dose (0.6ml/kg body weight), should be used with caution. 5. When the injection volume exceeds 6ml, it should be injected at different points.

Adverse reactions:

1. This product has nephrotoxicity and neurotoxicity due to colistin sulfate.

2. Excessive local injection volume of this product will cause increased pain, muscle degeneration and edema at the injection site.
